15 months already......

Hanging out on my new kitchen floor! Rock and Roll baby!
Lucie turned 15 months old on March 28th! Everyday it amazes me how cute she is. She is not the carbon copy of her sister that is for sure. She is very outspoken (even if she isn't speaking yet). She points and yells and even though it is very annoying at times it is still so darn cute. She loves to read/eat books, that's right she always tries to take a bite out of every book we are reading. Her favorite songs are : Itzy Bitzy Spider, 5 Little Monkeys, I love you, and My Mommy told Me. She is in love with hats and shoes. She has the bluest eyes and blonde hair. She loves to climb on everything including the kitchen table, so we are constantly pushing the chairs back in to the table and she screams at us every time. She is now sitting in a chair that hooks to the table instead of her highchair. This helps her feel like she is actually a part of our dinner time! She isn't shy at all and loves to say hi to everyone! Her favorite time is BATHTIME, and she loves to DANCE!

Happy 15 month birthday baby girl!!

And the days go by..............

Seems like forever since I have had any time at all to post any of the exciting and new things going on in our life. Everyday is so busy it runs into the next one. RJ is doing much better. He is now able to walk pretty well on good days(minus the crutches). Physical therapy is doing wonders and he is slowly getting the strength back in his leg. Don't get me wrong he still has bad days when it aches and he has to ice it and get off of his feet. He can't walk around for a long period of time yet. We have tried to go "shopping" a couple of times (basically walk around walmart or target or the mall) but he gets worn out really fast. On the plus side it gets the girls out of the house for just enough time to cause a little bit of havic when they try to run all over. On the downside it is I who has to (or should I say can) run after them right now.

The girls are loving having their Dad at home with them everyday. He loves it too, but is very very eager to return to work. It's all a waiting game right now. We finally got an MRI taken but it came back negative (which is good and bad). Sounds like physical therapy is what is in store for RJ for quite awhile. He is waiting to hear back from work on whether or not he can go back yet. The doctor will only clear him for desk duty right now and for the last couple of weeks his work said he had to be cleared further before he could come back. Wait, wait, wait.....

The girls are getting so big now. Lucie is on the verge of talking, she is very vocal, just not clear yet. She will get there soon.

I can't wait for this coming weekend. My Boone girls are hopefully getting together for a slumber party! It is well needed and deserved!!!!!!!!!!!!
