Busy, busy, busy......

From Left to Right: Sarah(ME), Lucie, Beth(my Mom), Gracie, and Bonnie (my grandma)

This past week has been very busy. RJ worked late a couple nights, one day from 6am until Midnight. He was very tired. Gracie is doing great potty training, in fact I would almost say that she is fully potty trained except for the fact that she wears a pull-up or a diaper overnight. Lucie is still pretty fussy at night, but during the day she is on the go, go, go. I am sure she will be walking before too long. The periods between standing and falling down are getting longer and longer. We are going to have another open house on October 3rd, which is great, but it falls on our cousin Monica's wedding, so it makes that day very crazy.

Once again I am wishing for a morning to sleep in, I am sure it will never happen. Gracie has become crazy about Thomas the Tank, so we will be going to the train station here in Boone to see him this weekend. Of course with their outrageous prices, we will just be going to look at him, not ride him.

I lost my camera last weekend somewhere between my sisters house in Harcourt and Boone. I have looked everywhere. It's very frustrating. That is our only camera and I always take good care of it. It had to have dropped out of my bag. Hopefully I will find it soon. I have some very cute pics of the girls to post, and to take!!

I have posted a 4 generation picture of my grandma Bonnie, my Mom, Gracie, Lucie and myself. I am glad we got the opportunity to take this picture, you just never know when you will get the chance again.!

Crying, crying, and yet again more crying......

Oh how I love my girls! They are both growing so fast. Lucie has just mastered waving and kind of saying bye bye. Of course with her 2 cute teeth on the bottom that she recently aquired she has been quite the handfull. She is in this stage now where she wants to be held non stop and you can't just hold her you have to stand up with her and walk around, otherwise she cries. I don't mean just a simple cry either. It's a "oh my god I am going to die" cry. I can honestly understand how some people lose it and shake their babies. Don't get me wrong, I would never do that, but I can understand. She just won't give it up, I have literally sat down in the rocking chair with her and she climbs up me like a jungle gym crying and rubbing her head in my neck making me very uncomfortable let me tell you. The constant screaming in my ear is enough to push you over the edge. Everyone say's "let her cry". Ok, I do, but there is only so much crying I can listen to, and she can outlast me everytime. Plus even when I sit her down in the living room with her toys and she is screaming I walk into the kitchen to get away for a second and get my wits together and she crawls after me still crying. Some days are better than others, and sometimes she is absolutely fine. There are just those days when I want to be anywhere else but here holding her while she is crying. Thank god RJ is right there to help me with her so we can switch off when it's too much. He is a lifesavor!

It's baking time.....

This past week I finally got the opportunity to make some chocolate chip cookies with Gracie. She was so cute and she got to wear her new apron that Grandma made for her. My mom has been bringing over her sewing machine when she watches the girls and has been sewing up a storm. Anyway, Gracie helped me pour all the ingrediants into the mixer and then mix it. One thing that puzzled / alarmed me is that I convinced her to lick the spoon with cookie dough on it and she about threw up when she did. She does not like raw cookie dough. I know, I can't believe it either, how can anyone not like cookie dough but she doesn't. Maybe she will like it when she is older, lol. It was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to do it again!!

Pufferbilly days 2010.....

It started off pretty chilly and then turned into a pretty hot morning at least where we were sitting we were directly in the sun. The girls loved the parade, Gracie is in love with any band she sees now! Grandma, Aunt Kari, Nick, Aunt Erica and Liam came to the parade with us! The kids caught candy and watched the floats go by. Then we had one of the puppies that was with the humane society come up to us so we could pet it. Unfortunately it threw up a lot right next to me. Can I just say GROSS. I almost threw up myself trying to clean it up. uugghh. But I cleaned it up so that the kids wouldn't fall into it or something. Thank god for baby wipes and the extra plastic sack we had brought for candy. Besides that incident, the parade was good. We saw my nephew Nick march with the Ogden middle school band, my neice Megan twirling a flag in the Ogden High school band, and my cousin Baillee and my Uncle Mark on the Major Girls All Star Softball float. RJ was nice enough to embarass Megan by running up infront of her while they were walking by to take her picture! It was very funny! We can't wait until next year!! Oh how I love a parade!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gracie's first BHS Toreador game of the 2010 season....

#67 is JD!

Well Friday night was Gracie's first official game of the 2010 season. Since it rained all day we weren't sure if we should take her or not, but we decided if she was going to be a true Toreador fan she would have to deal with it like we do. Of course it rained the first half and then was nice the second half. We won against Algona 35-0. She loved the band and all the people. We also got to see Gracie's second cousin JD Smith play in the second half!! Uncle Joe was happy since JD is his son, or I should say "Great Uncle Joe""as he kept correcting me! She got to visit with some of our Aunts and Uncles and friends at the game that haven't seen her since last year when she was only 9 months old. Wow were they surprised how much older and bigger she is now. We can't wait to take her next week!!

Need or want............

Well once again we are faced with the question "Is this a need or want?" We have decided to get rid of our home phone and internet service. We discussed it and we can go without these services right now. We will just check our email from work and any other internet related endeavors will be done from work. RJ has wanted to get rid of our home phone (landline) for awhile now. His point was that we use our cell phones more than the home phone so we are just wasting money that we could use for other bills. I guess I see his point so we will be calling and terminating them this week. So from now on if you need to get ahold of us you will have to reach us on our cell phones!

Fall has arrived.....

Lucie lookin good in jeans!

This is what Lucie does while Mommy cooks supper!

The Three Amigos!

Just hanging out!

Grandma & Gracie in the morning!

Oh how I love this weather! The air has officially been shut off at home and the windows are all open. Of course this means we are into our fall clothes again, which means going through more tubs of clothes to get out all of the ones that are too small for Gracie and just right for Lucie! I guess I got pretty lucky with having the girls so close together, they get to share clothes!! This past weekend we spent time with family and some friends and just had a good time. We made it to our first home Toreador game and they won, and we love that the Hawks won also!!! I can't wait to take the girls (maybe just Gracie) to the game this weekend!!
